NICET Level 1 & 2 - Live Two Day Class

Price:  $695.00

Description:

Are you NICET Certified?   NICET Certification is a widely accepted, cross industry recognized certification in professional competency.   It has become a requirement in many states for those involved in fire alarm systems, including design, installation, service, and test & inspection—and more states adopt the requirement every day!

NICET Certification is a very valuable certification, but is also a very difficult certification to attain.  Even fire alarm experts with years of experience in the fire alarm industry struggle to achieve their certification goals.    NTC's NICET Fire Alarm training is designed to make the certification and examination process simpler and easier.

NTC's NICET Level 1 & 2 Fire Alarm training is intended for the low voltage professional.  This course covers certification procedures and requirements, testing strategies, and NFPA code books.  Students attending this course will develop a strong understanding of fire alarm systems, including the requirements of NFPA 72 (National Fire Alarm Code), NFPA 101 (Life Safety Code), and the NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code).

This is a practical applications based training course.  The information covered in this training directly applies to everyday work in the industry.  This course provides students with in depth information on code compliance and proven standard practices for the industry.  Throughout this course, there is an emphasis on safety, professional ethics, and doing the right thing.  Those who attend this training will be better prepared to meet the professional challenges of the low voltage industry.

Students will receive a copy of the following NTC Professional References:  NTC Red Book (NICET Testing and Study Guide), NTC Orange Book (Chuck Notes – Fire Alarm Code Quick Reference Book), and NTC Brown Book (Fire Alarm Systems Design and Installation).  These reference books are critical to the NICET test preparation process and make the testing process much easier, allowing the student to achieve his certification goals faster.
